This was the choice after months of studying what would fill out spot. I even purchased something, and then returned it before even opening it because it just didn't feel right. This did. After my husband removed and relocated the lights in this strange kitchen corner, the cabinet fit perfectly. We are absolutely fully pleased with the look and function of this in our kitchen. It doesn't match the other cabinets, which are shaker style, but because this counter area is set off just a little, it doesn't bother us. The minus one star for these pieces is for all the extra work my husband had to do to install it SECURELY. It came with just very very basic drywall anchors and 2 screws per piece. There is no way that would stay up and hold dishes. My husband worked days on creating pieces that would allow for a mimimum of 4 securing points per piece, into boards that were in turn secured into the studs. In addition he made it so the whole cabinet set was also "resting" on boards drilled into studs. He also connected the three pieces together to prevent any spacing slivers upon installation or after settling. He then put a strip of moulding on the top to match it to the ceiling. They aren't going anywhere. We would have preferred shelving that could hold more weight securely, but after months and months of researching, this was the piece that suited us the best in the most ways. Cute little bathroom cabinet. It took me less than 30 minutes to assemble — and I love a quick assembly! The instructions were a little meh — there was one spot where I missed the back little bracket that goes between the two back pieces, so I had to take the top off and add it and then reassemble, but that only took a minute or two. I also put the doors on thinking, “no big deal, I’ll just add the shelf after I hang it,” even though the instructions show to hang it, then add the shelf and doors — I was still able to maneuver the shelf in without removing the doors. It was a little bit of a challenge, but not a big deal. I assembled late at night and didn’t want to hang it until the next day. I would say the most challenging part was hanging it — doors or not — it’s a little awkward if you’re doing it alone because the cabinet is probably 15-20 lbs, but I got it done! Would recommend having a second set of hands for that part, if possible. Otherwise, the cabinet is perfect for what I needed it for. Obviously, the doors don’t line up perfectly, even though I adjusted the hinges, but I’m not worried about it. I am in an apartment where storage is not the best and I have A LOT of beauty and skincare products, so this is helping me keep them off the bathroom counter and tucked away, but right where I need them..
