Love this window seat. It took about 5 minutes to assemble, it's very sturdy and the materials are nice quality. The cushion is thick and medium firm plush if that makes any sense. It's very comfortable and random detail: the chenille is soft and is surprisingly static free, even on these very dry winter days. Fits perfectly in our bay window. We have round dinning room, with 4 windows. To find curved curtain rod proved to be impossible, so gave this one a try. It worked perfectly! All hooks and holders rotate so you can attach them on angled walls. As you can see from photo, rod seamlessly transfers from hook to hook. Minus one star for paint finish, it scratches very very easily, so make sure to adjust screws only when all your curtains are in place. Also rod itself is rather thin for a price. This is one beautiful piece of furniture. It’s high quality and as exactly as described…. I love the modern farmhouse look and this worked perfectly in our space. I have seen a couple of reviews about the color. This is true to the image posted but will add that the lighting can also cause variations in light from cool to warm. I love both!! My husband and I downsized so the extra storage was a bonus. I have six sets of king size sheets and 4 throws, two small pillows and space for a little more. The white cushion is very attractive I did however add some scotch guard to help keep dust and stains at stray. I think a damp white cloth could be used. It’s comfortable to sit on and the width and height are perfect for both my husband and I. I am 5’8 and he is 6’2 so this was another thing that attracted us to this bench. It has some weight to it which we prefer. Assembly was a breeze due to only having to add the feet..
