Great desk for a 9 year old. The drawers are fabric, the top one doesn't go in all the way because of the bar in the back. The two sections are held together with 2 wood pegs and isn't very sturdy and leaves a small gap. Our fabric drawers came really dirty. It was easy to put together and works as a nice first desk.. After assembly great looking desk. My 15 year old son assembled in about 2 hours. He took his time but had no difficulty. The desk was bought for him. There was small scratch/indention on top hutch. Came out box with scratch. I had seen reviews about the drawers not closing and such. The top drawer does have difficulty closing. It goes about halfway in and stops,I am not wanting to push it hard. This is nice and lightweight but still sturdy. I love that it is solid wood. You can assemble with drawers on whichever side you choose; it gives instructions for both ways. It is soft pine so I will need to put a glass cover on the top if I want to write on it. I will add pics as soon as it is all the way together.. Anonymous. Thu Jun 11 2026

The Mingle desk brings together functionality, durability, and modern style, making it a perfect addition to any productive workspace.

Not normally the type to leave reviews, nor is this incentivized in any way. I simply adore this desk. Over the past several weeks, I spent much too many hours looking for a desk that was 1) real wood, solid, not damaged upon arrival or prone to immediate signs of wear, 2) something cozy but spacious, suitable for long hours writing, 3) with at least a little charm, personality, elegance while 4) within the realm of reason, price wise. I was seeking a certain stateliness, the almost grandfatherly feeling of a far older and more expensive desk within a brand new and not too expensive one, which is a fairly steep order. So if this checking all my personal boxes can save anyone else the extra headache I'd be happy. Very much the perfect desk. As I was putting it together, the scent of real wood was like the first warm breeze of spring drifting in through the window after a long long winter. I hope this desk will see me through many winters and springs, and plenty of writing to boot. Bonne chance, if you too.. Alaskita. New York. Mon Oct 19 2026

Crafted from high-quality P2 grade MDF board and laminated particleboard, it is sturdy and healthy and can be behold wonderfully for years. Beautiful, but the paint was a bit chipped in the corners and inside lining of the legs. However, still love it. Building was ok, but took me a bit of while to figure out the sliders and the pieces labeled "F". But sturdy end product. Melanie. Bronx, NY. Sun Aug 02 2026
