These are nice lights that we got to accent pictures in our hallway. There are lights on both sides. I will say that I thought that one side was stuck powered in, until I realized the pictures on the top indicated which button to use on the remote control. I have been looking for just the right pieces to enhance the area over my mantel and these fit the bill. Installation entails using two screws to apply a plate which the lights fit over. It took around four hours to charge them initially; I can't speak to how well they hold a charge as we didn't really purchase them for extra light. Charging is as easy as charging your phone and they come with two charge cords. They do have dimmers and a remote. I really like the style of the lights and they would look great outside my house but since day one, one of the lights has not worked at all. These outdoor lights are very pretty and look great on the house. They have a clean, classic design that matches everything well.
