I love these little lights. They are going into a dark hallway area, which has one harsh overhead light. I am a great fan of mood lighting. There is an onoff switch on each light, but there is also a remote which is very handy considering I mounted these a foot and a half over my head. They will come in quite handy when I am looking for a particular book title or I just want to enjoy the indirect lighting. The remote works perfectly, and you can dim or brighten, whatever your whim.
