The Liljan vanity is beautiful but I had a lot of trouble with it. I am wondering if it was someone's returned article.....first the drawer pull had an entire section where the finish had come off and the stainless steel below was exposed. The vendor sent over a new handle so at least that was good. The once the vanity was installed, I discovered that the bottom drawer was misaligned and jutting out. Since the drawer rails were preinstalled my contractor could not adjust these. Hopefully someone will come and fix the vanity drawer and it will get done, otherwise will be a big problem for me as to now uninstall it, send it back and purchase a new vanity will be very expensive and painful.. This vanity exceeded my expectations. VERY solid construction, the finish was accurate to the pictures, the countertop has a nice honed appearance and I appreciate the storage of the slant out top drawer- a feature you don’t often find in bath vanities. General ordering consideration- there is a narrow removable section in the shelf for your drain, but if your plumbing doesn’t line up square, you can forego the shelf or do some modification via cutting to fit your set up. So beautiful and elegant. The marble top appears to be high quality and is uniform in the veining. The form and details on the piece are really exquisite. Extremely well packaged. It arrived in perfect condition. It is quite heavy and cannot be moved without some muscle but that also makes it feel substantial. Update: Although this is a beautiful vanity, upon installation it became obvious that one of the sinks was install backwards. This is an incredible problem because now I need to somehow reengineer the vanity as well as have the installation reversed and recall the plumber to reinstall once the sink is corrected. For this price, I would expect better quality control. The reality of renovation is that items are purchased and await installation and only upon installation can you see all the flaws. I am well out of the return period. UPDATE: Wayfair and the manufacturer provided a reasonable refund. The vanity is gorgeous otherwise and I did not want to return. The money doesn't cover the hassle factor or the full costs with the plumbing and handyman charges but I am satisfied.
