Great for small spaces! The downstairs bathroom doesn't have much room so this was perfect for getting the toilet paper off the ground. Still deciding on how to decorate that bottom shelf. Assembly was pretty easy, I did it by myself, although I'm sure two people would have made it much easier. I hand tightened all the screws and then used the alan wrench to tighten everything once it was all connected. I opted to flip the middle shelf around instead of having all of them pointing the same way, I also put the wall anchors on the outside. I used a level to make sure it was perfect before attaching it to the wall, but it gave the impression that it would have stayed without the anchors. I really like this bathroom storage. It was relatively easy to understand the assembly instructions, all the holes aligned properly, and all parts were numbered. The most important factor for me is that the shelf is very compact and fits perfectly in my small bathroom. It is also pretty sturdy and stable, not shaky, and doesn’t require unti tipping device. I made a few modifications to it though. First, I placed the wider shelf on top and the narrowest on the bottom. This ensures the bottom shelf doesn’t hit my back while using the toilet. Second, I turned the shelves the borders forward. That actually achieved 2 things. 1) the items on shelves are more secure and not going to slide off. 2) all three shelves are more protruding to the back and almost nothing to the front. The only reason I am giving this shelf 4 stars is because the exposed metal screws spoiled the beauty of this item. I covered them with paper patches, but I plan to paint them in a future. I am happy with this Solid Wood Ladder Shelf. I ordered it in the light wood finish, and it looks even better in person. Once everything was put together, I was impressed with how sturdy it felt, I wasn’t sure if it would be or not and it was very sturdy. arrived very quickly, very well packed, all the parts were present and all the holes were drilled perfectly. well as you can tell from the photo I opted to use this in the kitchen since I dont have much storage space, I really had no intention of using it in the bathroom since I have less space. this is not wood this is called HDPE which is a high density polyethylene which makes it very versatile being that it is waterproof, mold proof, and it can also be used outdoors. like I said all the holes were drilled perfectly so assembly went very quickly right after I figured out the first part attaching b and c to part g. anyway once I got that clear in my head I really didnt need the directions too much. they did not give me any extra screws but the screws that came with it are really nice screws. the Allen wrench that is provided has a handle so that created less wear and tear on my hands. theres so many ways that this could be utilized other than an over the toilet stand, for example a plant stand, storage for just about any room just to name a couple. this was a pretty awesome find and of course I always think out of the box so its in my kitchen not my bathroom.. The thought that Wayfair has put into their “do it yourself” instructions, by far, bests anything I have ever followed before. I didn’t even need to use my own tools. Everything came together perfectly by following the instructions. I’ve purchased furniture from other places that requires assembly and, depending on the number of pieces in the process, it can be a challenge just understanding the instructions.
