Mirror looks to be well made. It was as described. It was easy to hang with the brackets provided, however, I definitely wouldn’t want it hanging strictly from the drywall anchors provided. I made sure that each bracket had a screw into the stud, and a toggle bolt on the other. This medicine cabinet is absolutely beautiful. Very well made and sturdy. It arrived early and the packaging was top notch, no damage at all! If you like mirrors and storage this is your cabinet. The light bar gives off a nice ambient glow. I do recommend a vanity light above this cabinet if you want it brighter. This was the perfect vanity mirror light combo I needed for my basement bathroom. I have been slowly working on finishing my basement and added a small bathroom in the basement. I have a upflush system in the bathroom so I needed a vanity that is modern, not too bulky, and does not need a lot of electricity (watts). This checked all three boxes. It is super light, recessed and consumes minimal power due to LED lights. Love the three seperate light color/brightness. I had to cut a stud to get the light to be recessed, but given none of my basement studs are load bearing, that wasnt a issue. The vanity itself though is really nice and feels premium. Overall pretty happy with the cabinet. I had to install it surface mounted as I did not have the framing depth to recess it. The included screws for mounting should definitely not be used, the drywall anchor would be incredibly insufficient and fail with moderate loading of the cabinet. I installed backing in the framing prior to drywall and was able to mount it with two large screws. I also wish the electrical was able to be connected from inside the cabinet. Instead, the cabinet is delivered with a 16ga stranded wire whip that comes out of the top of the cabinet. This means that to have the cabinet lay flush to the wall I had to put a small junction box at the top of the cabinet that I will have to cover with trim later. The lighting is a great accent but insufficient as a sole light source for a bathroom if you are thinking about using it as such. Really wanted this cabinet for the interior outlets so I could keep my toothbrush out of sight, and for that it has been great. The door hinges seem to be of decent quality, they offer standard adjustments and provide a great soft close, hopefully they last. 2nd time purchasing, 1st time assembling. Small corner of backboard was chipped. Instructions are tricky at times to figure out, and there is a bonus piece (10) missing from the instructions (seems they revised the design, but failed to include that in the instructions) I discovered after it was too late to fix it. The wall anchors included with the kit were way too small for the screws they were meant for- luckily I had extras on hand. If I didn't already have this product installed by a contractor, I would have struggled more through the assembly, and I'm usually someone who generally finds them easy.. Christine.
