This medicine cabinet was surprisingly good quality! No assembly required, very heavy, and has soft-close doors. Some shelves are difficult to install unless you remove the hinges. One shelf peg hole was misaligned but I was able to fix the wobbly shelf with a small rubber door pad. Directions say that it takes 2 people to install it but I recommend 3. Overall, this is a well-made and sturdy wall-mounted medicine cabinet with mirror. It looks great once installed and feels like a quality piece. When it arrived, the top was damaged and looked like it may have been previously handled or improperly cleaned. The finish appeared to be deteriorating, similar to what can happen when an abrasive cleaner is used on this type of painted surface. (For cabinets like this, it's best to clean the painted finish with mild soap and water, while only the mirror should be cleaned with glass cleaner.) Thankfully, customer service resolved the issue right away, and I was very happy with how they handled it. The reason I'm giving this 4 stars instead of 5 is the smell inside the cabinet. My husband assembled the cabinet and didn't notice any odor during installation. I only noticed it after it was mounted on the wall when I opened the doors. It has a noticeable burnt or smoky smell inside the cabinet that has lingered for over a week. I'm hoping it eventually goes away, but since the cabinet is already installed, returning it really isn't practical. Lastly, as several other reviewers mentioned, the assembly instructions could be clearer. Fortunately, I had already read the reviews before putting it together, and one review pointed out a step that wasn't well explained, which made the assembly much easier. This is quite possibly the nicest looking medicine cabinet that I've ever seen. It is REALLY pretty. I love the adjustable shelves that are the perfect size to hold everything from hydrogen peroxide bottles to aspirin. I love the soft close feature of the door. This cabinet was a great find! All of the pieces were in perfect condition because they were manufactured cleanly and packaged for shipping with extra foam sheets between each piece and high quality Styrofoam to keep the pieces from moving in the box. This kit also had clear directions with pictures and words and extra parts. All of the holes were drilled properly, each piece fit together perfectly and not a scratch on any of the pieces. The knobs are very pretty and sparkly if you like a glam look; they are not our particular taste but can be easily changed. No issues with the mirrors and they were perfectly clean as well.
