It’s a 20 inch diameter and I picked it because my sink measures 24 inches wide. I think in terms of size it was a good size. I haven’t used the mirror all that much since I just installed it. Great light I absolutely love it in my bathroom, however be prepared to do a little bit of work to it. If you look in the pictures, they all don’t sit straight. Some of them are a little bit crooked. Also, where you screw the glass shade into is very inconsistent. If you can see in the pictures, some of them were nice and even but then some of them showed the black threads. I took a piece of EVA foam and cut a little foam gasket to bring the silver down so that you didn’t see the black ring. Overall, a great light I really love how it looks.. Diane. New Jersey. The shade of gold is a lighter more champagne gold color, rather than brassy yellow gold. The globes are completely enclosed when installed. It takes candelabra style bulbs, but the openings of the globes are very narrow so I had to try two different styles of bulbs to find one that would fit through.
