And of course our project was started recently ( after 30 day return). Well we learned that the item was missing screws and cables and that it was shipped to us from returns. Nice exhaust fan that we installed in a newly renovated bathroom . It’s quiet enough. One blade on the motor casing turned up broken - not sure if it arrived that way or if it happened during installation . We were able to glue it with super glue and it’s working great - no clicking noise . I wrote to the manufacturer and they sent me a new motor casing . The vent cover arrived quickly and in good condition. I like the modern, clean style and the screws are hidden. The installation instructions are clear and remind you multiple times to measure the opening and purchase the cover appropriate for the space. There is no wheel or mechanism to open and close the baffles. You use your fingers or a screwdriver which could be a pain if you are using it in a ceiling or other difficult to access area. The CleanVent is a magnetic, screw-less, retrofit vent cover: featuring hidden airflow tabs. It is easily repositioned when installed, which can fix the problem of improperly installed, crooked, or misaligned vents. The CleanVent attaches via magnets screwed into the vent box itself, pulling the vent box tight to the ceiling which can eliminate vent sweating. Easily removed for cleaning and painting. Each CleanVent is manufactured in the USA out of .040 5052-H32 aluminum, (not plastic). The CleanVent and defusing screen are powder-coated in gloss white and can be painted.
