I have a great bleach-free mold-killing product that is safe for use on wood so I was able to wipe it down, but it was concerning. I’m keeping an eye on it to be sure the mildew doesn’t return. I recently purchased the Yamazaki Home Tower Under-Appliance Drawer and I am so impressed with it. The quality is excellent, just as I’ve come to expect from Yamazaki Home products. The steel frame is sturdy and doesn’t wobble, even with my espresso machine on top. The slide-out shelves are incredibly smooth and really make a difference in keeping my counters organized. I use the top pull-out for utensils and the lower one for everyday items like tea, spices, and kitchen towels. What I love most is how much counter space it freed up. Instead of clutter everywhere, everything has a clean and tidy place to go. It looks modern and minimal, but also very functional. The design is clever and the 31.5” width fits perfectly in my kitchen without feeling bulky. I also really enjoy that the finish is easy to wipe down and doesn’t collect dust or fingerprints like some other organizers I’ve tried. Overall, this is a very well-made and thoughtful piece. I love this little cabinet! I like to do my skincare routine in my living room (outside of face washing, of course) instead of the bathroom or bedroom. It's the perfect size to hold not only all the products I use for morning and night, but also the medications we regularly use - just make sure you pay attention to the picture that lists the dimensions, and then measure the space you where you want to put it to make sure it's the right size for you. The little drawers are great for lip balms, eye drops, lighters, and other small things. For anyone complaining that the wood is of poor quality: you're not going to get a new solid wood piece for $40 or less, so not sure what you expected. That said, I actually think it's very well constructed, and the only "cheap"feeling thing about it are the plastic window panes, which another reviewer prettied up with those cute privacy window film, and I think I'm going to do the same myself.. Actual wood, maybe not the prettiest grain, but wood. Arrived assembled, but I added some glue to a few areas just in case, and glued on a little cardboard to the back to prevent anything from falling out of the drawers.
