Rug has a nice plush texture that is comfortable to step on. The size feels a bit small compared to other bathroom rugs I have used, but is sufficient for a place to set your feet in front of the toilet. In the rug pictured on Wayfair, the bird pattern is very clear & easy to see. On the actual rug received, the pile of the solid colored part of the rug is a bit taller than the embroidery of the birds, so it goes over the edges of the birds somewhat and obscures the pattern slightly, making it appear less crisp.
