Soft, dries quick, high pile. Only reason it gets 4/5 is because it doesn’t actually look as nice as the photos in the ad. I love the quality - it's very hard now to find cotton bathmats that don't have rubber on the back - although I wish both sides were knotted. One side is tufted, which gets smashed down when wet.
