The U-shaped mat does not fit properly around the base of the toilet. Both the square mat and the U-shaped mat are rather thin and flimsy. I like the fact that they are easily washable, so I'll keep them since I need something and have nothing else as I look for some that are better. Perhaps I can alter the U-shaped one by cutting and sewing a new edge to make it fit. You can see in the photo how the edges lift up around the base of the toilet. This rug definitely lives up to its name. It is classy and feels so very soft. I recently received this rug and put it directly in the washer and dryer, on low. When I took it out of the dryer, it came out warm and fluffy. I bought the Coral color since I was changing the color scheme in my bathroom. I have never used this color so I was a little worried it wouldn’t match my towels and other rugs but I was so wrong. This little rug is just perfect for us .
