We are VERY happy with our two Basia Chairs! The Snow Ivory fabric appears high quality. It's soft and has dimension although it is slightly loose. The dark (almost black) wood is well done. It looks "finished" with nicely smoothed edges. The icing on the cake is that not only is the chair attractive, but it sits nicely! I (5'5") could sit comfortably in it for an hour or so and have a nice conversation without constantly shifting. My husband (5'11") is also comfortable in it. The chair itself I like, it’s sturdy and make of heavy real wood. The chair is pretty comfortable though the quality of the cushions I don’t believe would hold up to long term use. This is in our basement so I think it will be fine for here and there. Why 4 stars The assembly was terrible. The instructions were not clear. They need to provide different Allen wrench, lucky got me my husband had a tool that helped or I was so frustrated. So get yourself the auto retract took or this will take forever to assemble due to the way the holes are set. Also note there should be another step they combined two and it was confusing to the point I had to take part off and redo. It does sit lower for a living room chair too so note that.
