Bass Tone Windchime

The largest of the Gregorian Baritone Wind Chime has a deep and hypnotic tone. Experience the inner quiet that comes from listening to the peaceful patterns of Gregorian chant. Tuned to a medieval scale, this wind chime echoes the vocal music that has been sung as a part of daily devotionals and meditation in the monasteries and churches of Western Europe for more than a thousand years. Many believe this music to have remarkable healing powers. The sound is beautiful, relaxing and mysteriously compelling. Like the free-flowing monophonic lines of the chant, this wind chime's resonant tones will surround the listener as the sounds linger in the breeze. All of this Gregorian Chimes Baritone, Tenor, Alto, Soprano and the Little Gregorian harmonize beautifully together.

This handcrafted steel bell has a contemporary charm and a great tone. This handcrafted, wind-activated bell, with its bold tone and design, functions nicely as a welcome bell at any entrance to your home or garden. They tone their bells to unite two important ways the instrument vibrates. One is the sound of the bell itself and the other is the hollow chamber inside the bell that acts like an organ pipe. The slots on the sides of the bell are the secret to this unique coupling. The result is a rich sound with much depth and beauty. This steel ball has been coated with a handsome, durable finish, so you can enjoy it for years to come. Hang your Heroic Large Wind Chime in a breezy spot and let it play in the wind.

The Heroic Windbell™ Wind Chime is a very nice chime. Made with quality metal material and the sound of the chime is beautiful. I gave it 4 stars instead of 5 because it is extremely heavy. I bought it to hang on a shepards hook by our pool but it is way too heavy. We will need to get a strong mounted hook to support its weight. Overall very happy because it is a uniquie item.. Bonny. The Chimes of Neptune is designed and handcrafted for superior musical performance and is hand-tuned to a five-note scale found all over the world. It acts in concert with the wind to create random patterns of wonderful music and will work in perfect harmony with all other Encore Collection chimes right in your own back yard. Neptune’s distant blue-green world has a dynamic atmosphere and blustery weather. Temperatures drop to minus 400 degrees Fahrenheit and ferocious winds gust to 900 mph. Our Chimes of Neptune do not require gusting winds; they will play pleasing sounds with the gentlest breeze. This soft music may remind one of the celestial, all-women’s chorus at the end of Gustav Holst’s Neptune, The Mystic.

Item arrives in one box. Item is very well made and sturdy. The wood is very nicely done and the string is thick and should hold up for a long time. The wind chimes sound very nice and have a great sound. I highly recommend this product.. Eric. US. Thu May 21 2026

Recalls the soft melody of Johann Pachelbel's celebrated Canon. Your wind chime is tuned to the beloved sounds of Johann Pachelbel's Canon. A prolific composer and an accomplished organist, Pachelbel wrote for the organ, harpsichord, and voice his Canon is one of his few chamber works known today. With its graceful melody and stately tempo, it is a popular choice as a wedding processional, for within its measures they hear the sounds of hope, joy, love, and promise. The clever design incorporates 4 small rods that harmonize beautifully with the 6 chime tubes. This wind chime is the perfect gift for virtually any occasion.

The Pachelbel Canon Wind Chime is wonderful. The sound and copper decor is outstanding!. Ronda. Winston-salem, NC. Tue Sep 08 2026

Our wind singer chimes series combines the very finest artistry and craftsmanship with computer-age technology, allowing you to experience a whole new dimension of beautiful sound. Made from super-thick-walled aluminum tubes that are specially suspended, these chimes resonate much longer than other windchimes, bathing you in waves of enduring harmony every time the wind blows. The chimes of Apollo are named for the Greek god of prophecy, music, and healing. According to mythology, Apollo's chariot carried the sun across the sky each day, bringing light and warmth to the earth below. Woodstock wind singer chimes are musically tuned using an ancient system known as just intonation. This means the frequencies at which the different tubes vibrate are related to one another by simple whole-number ratios. Tones that are related in this way produce the purest, most beautiful musical intervals. This chime is tuned to an ancient Chinese pentatonic scale. Hang the chimes of Apollo in your garden and let them bring music and healing to all who visit your home.

Tuned to the opening phrase of Debussy's Clair de Lune. This Clair de Lune Wind Chime is tuned to the opening phrase of Clair de Lune, a distinctive melody made up of seven two-note chords. To replicate this, the chime was designed with two different sized clappers, so both the upper and lower tubes are struck at the same time. In this way, it plays “double stops,” or two notes at one time. Clair de Lune translates to “Light of the Moon” or “Moonlight” and is the third movement of the suite bergamasque, one of the most famous piano suites composed by Claude Debussy. First written around 1890, when Debussy was only 28, this melody was used for the Bellagio Fountain scene at the end of Ocean’s Eleven. A true original, there’s no other wind chime designed to play chords in this way.

Beautiful , and love the sound . Very relaxing!. Patrice. Sat Sep 12 2026

A favorite, tuned to the traditional scale of Balinese shadow puppet play. This chime gets its tuning from one of the brightest elements of the music of Bali, an exotic scale played by percussive gamelan orchestras. The warm winds and plentiful precipitation of the rainforest bring about lush, colorful plants and flowers. They don’t guarantee this beautiful-sounding wind chime will bring you rain, but they do guarantee it will bring you joy. This chime carries a lifetime tuning guarantee.

Exceeded my expectations. Great quality, including the chime.. Joyce. Cincinnati, OH. Fri Jun 12 2026

A tribute to Chick Corea, this chime is tuned to the opening and closing chords of Corea’s jazz masterpiece, Crystal Silence, which was recorded as a duet with vibraphonist Gary Burton. Considered one of the foremost jazz pianists, Corea started playing the piano when he was a child and started playing gigs while in high school. This exotic-sounding wind chime is tuned to the scale of the gamelan degung. This deep sounding wind chime takes you to the volcanic South Pacific, where magical music is heard every day on the Indonesian island of Java. Tuned to the musical scale of the gamelan degung (suggested to them by the pioneer American composer and instrument builder, Lou Harrison), the Javanese orchestra's intrinsically beautiful music combines simple elements to produce intricate textures. This lush, shimmering sound captivated and inspired musicians from the West such as Claude Debussy and Erik Satie. In fact, Satie first heard a Javanese gamelan orchestra play at the Paris Exposition of 1889 and incorporated its hypnotic effects in his exotic work, Gnossienne. The Java Wind Chime will inspire and hypnotize you as you listen to its mysterious melodies.

Love the sound!. Lou. Anderson, South Carolina. Sun Dec 24 2023

When the wind blows, this wind chime plays the familiar notes of London's Big Ben, pealing out the glorious sound. This wind chime plays the famous tones of London's Big Ben, pealing out glorious sounds of celebration and spiritual richness. The unique sound of these long tubes is the result of the special way their brain perceives the vibrations from their ear known as the missing fundamental (when a sound's overtones suggest a frequency to their ear which the sound itself lacks). Their Westminster Wind Chime plays the same traditional and joyous melody as the Westminster quarters heard in the streets of central London for over 150 years. Pause a brief while with me, to hear. The chime which is floating sweet and clear. Above the city's rush and roar, as a wild bird's song by a lakelet's shore.

Absolutely beautiful sound. Very reminiscent of church bells. So peaceful and grounding to hear while sitting outside amongst nature.. Meredith. Plainfield, IL. Sat May 02 2026

Tuned to the notes of Mozart's Piano Concerto 21 in C Major. Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart (1756-1791) lived a short but extremely rich musical life. Revered for numerous symphonies, chamber works, concerti and operas, his career started as a child prodigy and ended tragically at the young age of 35. This wind chime pays tribute to his 250th birthday and is tuned to the opening intervals of the Andante movement from his Piano Concerto number 21 in C Major (K. 467). This concerto was used as the theme music for the 1967 Swedish film, Elvira Madigan.

Soothing sounds as expected !! My front porch has nice variety with the Gregorian , Amazing Grace , & now the Mozart chime sounds !! Great to listen to as wind blows everyday . Betty Jo. Sanford, FL. Thu Jan 04 2024

A graceful design reminiscent of calligraphy, this gong captures the romance and splendor of the Far East. Inspired by traditional Asian design, their Emperor Series offers wonderful sound and is intended to reflect balance, harmony, grace, and beauty. Chinese instrument makers have made gongs for thousands of years and are deserving of their reputation of making the best in the world. Many processes go into creating the special sound of a Chinese Gong, including fine toning as a result of hand-hammering. In Buddhism, the gong is sounded at the start and end of each day. In Chinese temples, gongs are struck 108 times because it's believed that sentient beings have 108 types of worries. The teaching is this upon hearing the gong, worries will cease, and wisdom will grow. Nothing can transport them to another time and place quite like the brilliant resonance of a gong. For over a thousand years, gongs of various types have played an important role in both the religious and secular music of many Asian cultures. Gongs were sounded to chase away evil spirits, warn of invading armies, heal the sick, and invoke the spirits of the dead. To be touched by a gong was said to bring happiness and strength. Today, this revered instrument of warriors, emperors, princes, and priests adds a special aura to any setting. Handcrafted using traditional methods, this collection brings the ancient wonders of the Far East home.

Tuned to an ancient Japanese scale found on early zither instruments. This graceful and spirited wind chime is named for the Chionin Buddhist temple in Kyoto, which houses one of the largest ringing bells in the world. It takes 17 monks to ring the 74-ton bell, 16 of them to raise the giant wooden hammer by pulling it away from the bell with hanging ropes, while the 17th monk rides the hammer, pushing off with his legs in the split second before impact. Ringing the massive bell is an important New Year's event and the chiming lasts for 20 minutes. It only takes a gentle breeze to play the Kyoto Wind Chime and you will have years of pleasurable sounds reminiscent of the Japanese Koto, the musical instrument from which it gets its beautiful tuning.

Named for the brightly-ringed 6th planet from the sun. This wind chime is designed and handcrafted for superior musical performance. It is hand-tuned to a universal, pentatonic (five-note) scale and acts in concert with the wind to create random patterns of wonderful sound. Harmonizes beautifully with all the other Encore collection wind chimes. Woodstock Chimes The Original Musically Tuned Wind Chimes. Tuned to beautiful melodies and scales from around the world and available in a wide range of styles, songs, and sizes, you can choose the Woodstock Chime that speaks to your soul. How it all began? In 1979, the first Woodstock Chime was created by Grammy Award-winning musician Garry Kvistad from an aluminum lawn chair he found in a landfill. As a professional musician and instrument designer, he was fascinated by the Scales of Olympus, a 7th-century pentatonic scale that can't be played on a modern piano. Garry had the idea to cut and tune the lawn chair chime tubes to the exact frequency of the ancient scale. The resulting Chimes of Olympus was the first Woodstock Chimes Wind Chimes and is still one of our bestselling wind chimes. Garry and his wife Diane founded Woodstock Chimes in 1979 and it remains based in New York's Hudson Valley.
