I am a woman and put this together myself sitting on the floor the whole assembly. It is packaged very well and I had a time getting it out of the box. The predrilled holes were a little hard to find but following the instructions line by line showed them after using my cell phone flashlight. The assembly was not difficult. The most challenging part was putting the back cover on as it did not have predrilled holes. After trying to drill the screws with no predrilled holes, I settled on McGyvering the back panel and it is just as good and Im satisfied. The cabinet is sturdy. Well made and looks good and compliments other items I have in my home. I bought this cabinet for bedside books and stow away for things I always put on dresser to clear clutter. It’s a decent cabinet and fits nicely where we needed it. Three disappointing issues we found 1. There is some sort of a mar on top. It is Not backing from a sticker- there was no sticker on it. It is more like dyed glue or the coating. See photo 2. Assembly went very well until the last step- putting the door on. Every screw needed had predrilled holes EXCEPT the door. We had quite a time getting it lined up. 3.the chemical smell is no joke, as many others have mentioned. We put it on the screened porch with the cabinet door open. Nice peice, probably overpaid considering the problemS we had assembling . The guide was not easy to use , told us to use certain screws which were obviously wrong the bar that is seen across the front has a dent. And my husband has to drill holes for the outside doors on both sides so we can finish it. There are NO HOLES for the hinges to go on. I also just filled out a complaint online and tool photos and the website wont allow me to send it . I have another peice coming next week and hope its not as horrible Thanks alot. Kathryn Schelter.
