Basalt Stone Bubbling Fountain Kit

Basalt rock hollow springs pondless fountain kit is a clean-lined basalt rock with a steady water flow, it offers a strong “anchoring” presence in any landscape. This rock features a concave top, allowing the water to form a natural birdbath before running down the front face of the rock.

This is a rating for both the fountain and the great service. I've been looking at real rock water features for a while, always scared off by how much they weigh. I saw this and the positive ratings, so I decided to give it a try. I ordered and it arrived in a couple of days. During the ordering process, I cheaped out and decided I could install it by myself. Little did I know my front yard was mostly rock. I started a chat on the Wayfair site, first with AI then quickly escalated to a real person and I was VERY happy to find out that I could add assembly after it had arrived. That was scheduled for two days later. The day before I called the installation services to make sure they knew it included digging a hole. A very friendly and helpful associate, Esther, put me on hold a few times to pull up the actual instructions and size hole required. She then confirmed that she had made them aware of the required digging. They arrived on time today and an hour later I had a working fountain that I couldn't be happier with - both looks and sound. Ive been looking for a water fountain for quite some time. I wanted something that would provide conversation privacy from my neighbors, drown out some freeway noise, yet still sound tranquil. What I love about this fountain is the shape, size and overall modern style. Its a heavy solid piece, and it sounds wonderful with just the perfect amount of water flow. Wayfair Delivery was quick and amazing, and my contractor put it together in less than a hour. Everything is built-in, so once you get it centered and level, you just add water and plug it in. Simple, easy concept design! Its more textured than I expected, and unfortunately there are minor nicks all around the exterior and along the rim. I absolutely love this fountain. The only minor issue was the internal pipe for the power cable; it was a bit short, which limited the water level and made the pump sound a little loud. I easily swapped it out for a longer piece of standard PVC pipe, which allowed for a higher water level and a much quieter operation. We took the fountain out of the box and found a crackdent on the corner. Photo is included. Still hooked up since it will be in a garden and figured the dirt would cover. This turned out beautifully but was not easy to assemble. The directions were terrible and feel incomplete. My husband had to spend a whole day and hire a handyman to help him install it. There are some videos online from Aquascape that helped but those were not easy to find either. Make sure you have two people and a lot of patience. The fountain took a long time for delivery and when it came the pump was missing . Also the fountain had a lot of shading , therefore not looking like the picture above . For the price , it was rather deceiving. We received the pump later but asked to exchange the fountain . The exchange went smoothly and the new fountain looks better but still with some less apparent shading . We ordered early dec /19 and finally got the replacement fountain working end of jan.....
