These unique saxophone holders are made with a stave from an authentic whiskey barrel! We currently make these for alto/tenor saxophones. The hanging hardware is sourced from the manufacturer, String Swing, a very reputable company for hanging instruments, and is also located in Wisconsin! We sand each barrel and stave carefully to bring out the unique grains of the white oak while leaving the black marks where the rings of the barrel were. Two pilot holes make it simple to install and black wooden buttons are included to cover the screws. It is given a matte finish which brings out the grains of the oak and a nice light walnut color. Mounting hardware included. These are made with 1/2 length of a normal whiskey barrel stave, so are roughly 17" tall and can vary between 3-5" wide. Message us with any questions and we are happy to help!

A natural Suar wood wine holder 39.5" that is all-natural and holds up to a minimum of 10 bottles of your favorite display wine. It is sturdy for its use and hand-carved from a solid tree trunk. A great gift for a collector that is also a natural piece of functional art. As with all natural exotic wood products, there will be some slight variation in color, texture, and finish color. A natural product of this type could have visible marks from tools used, patches from small repairs, knot holes, natural inclusions, and wormholes. Suar wood aka monkey pod wood is strong and very durable, and the color and grain of the wood are pleasing you will see tones from light yellow sapwood edges to rich dark chocolate-brown tones of the heartwood. The rich color and beautiful grains of the heartwood resemble black walnuts. It is also highly resistant to decay and termites. Suar wood only requires basic maintenance such as soap and water to maintain its grandeur. For environmental concerns, Suar is not on any endangered species list and it is eco-friendly. The Suar tree is aptly nicknamed monkey pod wood for its beautiful crowning arbor sometimes reaching heights of up to 80' tall and as such a favorite yet bountiful play tree for these residents. Enjoy.
