It’ll take some getting used to but the aesthetics are pleasing to my eyes. I went from dark cherry finish with box springs down to a distressed white platform bed. I can’t stop looking at it every time I walk into my room! Disclaimer It took 2 people approx 3 hours to assemble. If you’re doing it by yourself it’ll take much longer. It’s easier with at least 2 people and (if you’re the 2nd person go ahead and find you an allen wrench, it’ll go by faster than our 3 hours). Tip The box is heavy and much heavier if you’re going upstairs, so get some muscles to help you. Also check off each item as you take it out of the box, to make sure nothing is missing.. This box was so heavy to bring to my 2nd floor guest room. Definitely need 2 people. It took me 3 hours to put this bed together and I am pretty much a pro at assembly. Iam very pleased with this king-size bed frame! The wood finish is beautiful and looks much more expensive than the price would suggest. However, this is the natural color and it is much darker than pictured on wayfair. The design is clean, modern, and versatile enough to work with many decorating styles. The frame feels sturdy and well-made, and the slatted support system provides excellent mattress support without the need for a box spring. Assembly was straightforward, and all the pieces fit together nicely. Once assembled, the bed felt solid with no wobbling or squeaking. The headboard adds just the right amount of character while maintaining a simple, elegant look. Overall, this bed met my expectations and will look great in my guest room. This picture is what the bed frame currently looks like 2 years after purchase! It still looks the exact same! We also have two large dogs who sleep with us and there are no additional scratches from them either. I have rearranged our bedroom plenty of times and I’ve never had an issue moving it (with the help from my husband.) I remember I was able to put it together myself super quickly as well.
