The Paneled Manufactured Wood Primed Barn Door Without Installation Hardware Kit is produced using MDF medium-density fiberboard. The 2 Panel MDF barn door has the design router carved on both the front and back of the door. All hardware including sliding track and handles are sold separately. The door is primed with an in-house white primer.

The doors were very heavy, and they were not squared. I was disappointed because of the price I had to pay for each door. One side was longer, therefore, if you look at the top, they are not leveled while the bottom was. Before you put them up, check to see that they are the same length on both sides. Our office entry way is huge, 84W by 89H, so we needed the largest size door this had to offer. Pro - the doors were super easy to assemble and the material is heavy duty. Con - definitely took 2 people to assemble the rail track and lift the doors, challenging to get the rail perfectly level and studded into the wall securely, I am still slightly concerned we don't have enough reinforcement holding it up with a basic 1x6 headboard as suggested on the instructions. Bought this for my Dad's modern farmhouse and it just brought everything together. Well-made and absolutely a stunning statement piece. The blue wood is so pretty in person and matched the blue-gray leather couches. The different colors of wood really tied together the multi-colors of wood my dad had between his older and newer things. Really solid door, paint finish is amazing, but it is not really very printable. It would need to be scuffed up well to take any paint, so when one side accidentally had trim applied to it and there were tiny nail holes after we removed the trim strip the painters were concerned about painting the whole door because the finish wouldn't be as good if they had to prep the whole door and eventually the paint-over could fail vs if we just kept most of the door untouched and just painted the one style to cover the small nail holes.
