Everything about this chair is wrong: - the footrest comes up only when the chair is fully reclined - the seat of the chair is so high off the floor that the only person in our family whose feet could touch the floor while seated is 6 ft 4 inches tall - the lever to pull for reclining the chair is a safety hazard. If you aren't careful, your finger will get pinched (hard) in the mechanism. This has happened to two people in our family. - when the chair is in an upright position, it gradually reclines back until almost horizontal (without touching the recline lever). this could possibly be a problem where it was assembled incorrectly - we purchased Wayfair's setup/assembly package - another big mistake - Overall: THE CHAIR IS AWFUL. A big (and expensive) mistake when you factor in the $83 return shipping charge; the $79 Wayfair assembly charge; and the $194 Angi dis-assembly charge.. Patricia. Allison Park, PA. Wed Aug 06 2025
