This mug takes inspiration from the natural materials of sand, clay, and water. The shapes are soft and inviting with pleasantly rounded edges and a slightly rough surface in some areas and glazed in others. Stoneware is defined as a group of ceramic products and is used to produce plates, dishes, cachepots, and bowls, molded at very high temperatures using special casting techniques. The high temperature during the firing process ensures stoneware is more stable than clay and less translucent than porcelain. The colors, shapes, and appearance of the glaze as well as the overall look depending on the firing temperature and time and may vary slightly from piece to piece each piece is unique and may show individual structures and shades.

Beautiful Polish stoneware Mug!! This is already my new favorite mug to use while having my morning coffee, it just makes me smile-, and what better way to start the day. Not only is this Mug functional, it is very well made and is easy to care for. Mug is microwave and dishwasher safe, but before using I washed it by hand. It is just an exquisite piece, I was handling it like it was fine china. Mug holds 12 ounces. Another awesome thing about the mug is they are all handmade ( in Poland ), and you can see that a lot of time and effort went into crafting them- also, each mug is numbered at the bottom. The ad on Wayfair says this mug is chip resistant, and I am keeping fingers crossed that this is truly the case, because I really love this item.
