It is a reclining couch. I am not a huge fan of the way reclining couches look, but they are generally more comfortable for watching TV. The Wayfair agent tried to tell me that this sofa is genuine leather all around, even though it is listed as having leather match in the description. It does in fact have leather match, so agents should not be making up stuff to get a sale. However, it is a good quality couch. It is quite firm though, which is not very comfortable unless you are in the reclining position.. Laurie. Lafayette, LA. Fri May 29 2026

This is the perfect sofa and should last for years. I did a ton of research before spending this much money on a product I have never seen. It absolutely is as well built as it is advertised and you will not find any comparably priced sofas that are as good a quality as this. Flexsteel names it “Dutch” if you are trying to find information about it on their website or wanting to see it in person at an authorized dealer. It is only 91 inches long but ways 297lbs. The second delivery was great! First time the guys didn’t know that the back comes off the sofa so they couldn’t carry it up the stairs. There was a gap between the cushions and the back of the sofa that was pretty noticeable. The delivery guys called customer service and I was offered a discount or they would return it for another one. I had already taken two days off work to wait for delivery so I accepted the discount..
