The foot lift is smother and pushing the foot rest down is also smother and easier. I liked the chair very much. It’s nice looking and very comfortable. I only have one problem with it, it’s very hard to put down the leg rest. I’m 75 years old and once I put the leg rest up I couldn’t get it back down. My son had to come over and put it down.
