This is an attractive soap dish, but felt a bit “chalky” to the touch before I washed it. I am hoping the dish doesn’t scratch the granite vanity top I will keep it on. I really love both this "soap shelf" and the matching toothbrush holder !! The pix doesn't show the frosty diameter surface of the soap holder which is excellent for holding the soap, (though I will not be using it for that). I will be using it instead for a small decoration that I choose to put on it, or sometimes my cell phone. Most other soap shelves have a concave surface to hold the soap. I needed something FLAT and SMALL. THANKS WAYFAIR, this is just what I need ;) ! PS: the dimensions on the website state that this is 4 LBS, which almost stopped me from ordering it. But I was fairly certain it was NOT...4LBS is something quite heavy. So I took a chance on ordering this because it so fit with what I wanted, and SURE ENOUGH, ITS less than 2 lbs.. Anna.
