The swivel seats rotate is smooth as can be. In choosing the height for a 36 inch high counter I felt there needed to be something in between the 25 inch and 30 inch stool. The stools were packaged well and are very sturdy. They are very stiff and not as wide at the seat as I thought they would be. We ran into an issue where the seats had some staining on them due to the silica packets, getting damp and rubbing on the tag that was maroon, which caused it to get on the fabric. I called Wayfair that night, while we were putting together the stools and noticed the staining, and the gentleman that helped me couldn't have been any kinder or more thorough with getting my information. He gave my information to the manufacturer, and they took care of me right away and we very easily I came to a solution.
