It is a beautiful solid piece of furniture. It will last a long time. I paid to have it assembled, and one person did the job. It takes about 12 weeks to get delivered. I waited until it went on sale during Way Day and then signed up to receive marketing emails from Wayfair to get an additional 10 percent off. I was able to purchase it for a little more than $8,300. We are pretty happy with the platform bed. Very protected in the box. The instructions were only pics, which was easy to understand. The bed is really pretty, sturdy, solid wood, but it’s a few things that prevent me from giving 5 stars. No instructions, took some time to find them online. The headfootboardsside rails don’t perfectly line up, which bothers the perfectionist in me. Not enough screws included to screw in both sides of each slat, had to do every other. This bamboo platform bed frame offers sustainable durability with an elegant natural finish. Pretty and functional. This bed is perfect for our need but I would not have bought it for a full-time bed of a large adult or two regular adults. The supports are adequate for a lighter load but seem flimsy for a heavy load. We also had no screws in our box as the box was damaged when it arrived but we were able to run over to ACE hardware and get the appropriate hardware and still assemble the bed the next day. We also built two supports that were equal to the center support and now, its perfect. The color is beautiful and the height was perfect for the low ceiling room we were using it in. Its just a guest bed but we slept on it for a night and it supported our weight and again, looks great. we also loved that there is not a third leg on the edge of the bed in the middle.
