The fabric is soft to the touch, gives you a cozy feeling and I love that it is all washable. The chair requires some assembly, which only takes about 15 minutes to get everything out of the box and ready to sit on. It does sit a bit low to the floor but it is very comfortable and being oversized gives you plenty of room. This chair is absolutely beautiful! The finish is gorgeous, and the craftsmanship exceeded my expectations. It feels very sturdy and well made, and it looks even better in person. The only thing I would recommend is adding both a seat cushion and a back cushion if you plan to sit in it for long periods—they make it much more comfortable.
