We got it quickly and set it up last weekend. As reviewed by others-very easy assembly. It is heavy, solid. I worry about the space between the slats being a bit wide. We have a heavy mattress - hope it holds well. I love the look! Goes well with my mid century dresser and high boy. The legs stick out a bit so we have each stubbed our toes-gotta get used to that-lol. Elle. Rockport, TX. Sat Oct 10 2026

The Ruby bed frame brings a single, well-chosen detail to the centre of the bedroom: a headboard handwoven in natural rattan, its organic texture and warmth setting the tone for the room around it. Each rattan panel carries its own subtle variation in tone and weave, the kind of character that only natural material handled by hand can offer. Beneath it, the frame is built from solid wood for steady, dependable support, with an integrated slat base that holds the mattress directly and removes the need for a box spring. The silhouette stays low, clean and modern, and the silent slat system keeps the whole frame quiet through the night. Assembly is straightforward, ready in about 30 to 45 minutes with no power tools and every component pre-labeled. The Ruby asks for very little and gives a warm, restful foundation in return.

For the price, the quality is REALLY good. I absolutely LOVE the look of this bed. The headboard is so beautiful. It was pretty straightforward and easy to assemble and I appreciated all the extra parts provided. I did have to call my husband in to help for one step to stabilize the headboard while I screwed things in, but if I were a bit stronger and not pregnant I probably could’ve done it solo.. Emma. The Sapa bed frame is built around two ideas working in quiet agreement: a headboard that is impossible to ignore, and a structure held together by joinery you will never see. The headboard is defined by a precisely machined 3D geometric pattern, each facet angled to catch the light differently as the day moves through the room. Beneath that sculptural surface, the frame is assembled using traditional Japanese mortise-and-tenon joinery, hand-crafted joints that interlock without screws or bolts to deliver silent, lasting stability. Built entirely from solid wood and reinforced to a 1000 lb capacity, the Sapa is made to remain exactly as solid as the day it was assembled. A silent slat system holds beneath without creaking or shifting, and the whole assembly assembles in about 30 to 45 minutes without power tools. The Sapa arrives ready to become the quiet anchor of the room, and to stay that way for years.
