Speaking of clean up, you’ll be doing a lot less of it with this stainless hood. The extraction power and hybrid baffle filters work together to trap grease. A simple wipe down of the stove hood vent’s surface will keep it looking new.

I've had this range hood for over 2 years now and it's worlds ahead of the recirculating option from the over-the-range microwave that I was using. I'm also using the re-circulating option on this device because I live in a condo without access to outside ductwork. It's not perfect but it is much better Some things to keep in mind for the recirculating option (may not apply to the vented): - all 3 fan options are basically the same strength/speed - steam will still occur above since it doesn't vent out - the odor-reduction relies heavily on the charcoal filters that you purchase (3rd party is available).
