It went together pretty easily but it takes awhile. I want to say it took me about 12 hours to get it completely together. The instructions are easy to understand but some of the bolt sizes it says to use are not correct. There are a lot of 2-14” bolts and a lot of 2-12” bolts. However it tells you to use the 2-14” bolts in almost everything and you run out by the time you actually need the 2-14” bolts. I ended up going back and installing the longer 2-12” bolts in a lot of places where there is thicker lumber and called for the 2-14” bolts to be able to have enough 2-14” bolts to use where they were actually needed. Also I flipped the swing and slide so I could have the play set oriented the way I wanted in my yard. The directions don’t explain how to do that but it’s easy enough to figure out. If you have a heat gun use it to assemble the slide it’s super helpful. The whole thing is a bit smaller than I expected. It’s perfect for my daughter who just turned four but I was hoping this would be something she could use until she was maybe 8-10. I’m worried she will grow out of this sooner than I had hoped. Overall, this was a great buy for our family. It was a big family project to put it all together. The spider swing has had to be fixed multiple times where the bolts came out. I absolutely LOVE this swingset! I would highly recommend it. Quality is incredible and it looks beautiful. This comes in 3 large boxes of parts and a slide. It’s a great idea to lay out all of the wood parts organized by letter and I would also encourage you to lay out all of the hardware by number otherwise you end up looking for parts for quite a while. There are tons of pieces but it goes together really well. I used the Bilt app which is also amazing for when the steps aren’t very clear on the paper directions (you can also use the app to look at a 3D model of any step from any angle which is very helpful). I would also recommend having 2 drills or at least an extra drill battery. I worked on this project for about 16 hours total with help from my dad and husband when extra hands were needed.. Lia. let me put it to you this way, fantastic. Bought this for my two granddaughters and they simply went nuts over it. Swinging, climbing, sliding, gliding and just enjoying themselves to the nines. Especially in these troubling times and not knowing where is safe to go or what regulations or rules they have, this swing set in the backyard is truly a God send. And if proper care is taken, I do believe that it will be around for my great grandchildren. Now as to the the Go Configure folks that built it for me, they are worth every penny they charged. Would have taken me and my friends at least two days to have built this but these guys were pros at it. They were prompt, very professional and did excellent work. We weren’t quite sure whether our kids would appreciate a backyard play set versus going to our local park, but we are so glad that we went for it. I’ll start with the assembly: The playground arrived in 4 large boxes that were, admittedly, intimidating. However, between the piece labeling, pre-drilled holes, and the companion assembly app, I could not have asked for more help. This was the first time my wife and I have built something like this, so maybe it’s a normal feature, but the 3D interactive app was truly a God-send. All in, it probably took the two of us 8 solid hours across a few days and dozens of kids’ naps. Once it was set up, it was an instant hit! Like I mentioned earlier, we were a bit apprehensive about the purchase, but when you see the actual quality of the product and all of the features that it has, the value is truly worth it. Lastly, it feels extremely sturdy. I think a sealant is necessary just to protect the wood, but I feel confident that it will hold up to the years of abuse the kids will give it. We bought this for our 6 year old and she loves it. My husband and I (well, mostly him) put it together ourselves and while it took quite a while (because there's like 8000 pieces to it), the instructions were surprisingly clear. Some of the wood was warped and didn't fit together very we, but with a few tweaks we got it to work. Make sure there's a strong person available on delivery day because the driver needed my husband's help to get it off the truck. No way I would have been able to move those boxes. The product looks just as pictured after setup and my daughter loves it! I personally did not do any installation, that was 100 my husband, he was able to complete by himself in 2 full afternoons working from lunch until after dinner. He said the worst part was the instructions referenced letters or numbers that did not match what the label stickers of the individual pieces had. So if you can figure out that puzzle with the bazillion pieces it came in that the project wasn’t so bad! The playset is sturdy and smells lovely with the fresh wood.
