We received the boxes to put this together and the base was easy to put together. We are not skilled in putting these together and the roof structure was complicated as some details could have been better explained in the 78 pages of instructions. This gazebo came out amazing. This is not something for a beginner to put together though. It came on a shipping palet with 5 very heavy boxes. It took my husband about a week to get it together. Very strong .. solid when built. Quality is all there so far. Couple gripes and maybe they aren’t terrible but the sides under the serving decks really could be more functional .. i.e. racks for spices, paper, aluminum foil etc .. just seems like a missed opportunity to make this perfect. Great looking pergola with easy to follow instructions. Took two adults about 7 hours to build with breaks in between. We also used the recommended expansion bolts to secure it to our cement patio. The wood is very soft so it does dent and scratch easily while we were building it but it doesnt look bad at all.
