We are very happy with our Backyard Discovery Beaumont 14x12 pergola! The only negative would be the time it took to arrive, which was about six weeks. Otherwise, it is very well made and looks beautiful. You need at least three people to put together. This gazebo came out amazing. This is not something for a beginner to put together though. It came on a shipping palet with 5 very heavy boxes. It took my husband about a week to get it together. We love this gazebo, it did take a month to get because are location was not on a normal place for the 3rd party shipper (witch is weird because we are on a major interstate) But with that aside we love this thing. We did stain every piece before build, so it should only ever need just the post redone every few years. The customer service from backyard discovery was topnotch. I’m not sure we could be happier with our gazebo. After spending time budgeting and planning a build-from-scratch project, this became clear to us that it was more affordable and frankly better looking. We love the size of the posts and the look of the metal roof. We are looking to add lights and fan(s) in the near future. Ours is a 15x13. We would consider ourselves very handy with tools and construction. It took four of us (two in our twenties and two in our forties) a three day weekend to put this together. I was very happy with this gazebo. Packaging was great and all the parts were well labeled and in perfect condition. Instruction manual was fairly easy to read but could have been a drop clearer. I'm 70 years old and put it together myself except for my daughter helping me attach the very top frame. Took me 4 days so I would definitely suggest having at least 1 other person around to help.
