I like the materials, they seem to be heavy duty. The net I bought is for a 12 x 14 gazebo from Yardistry only issue I ran into was that the net tracks for the long side of the gazebo were not the correct ones, they were longer than the beams where I was to mount them on I ended up having to section about 6 inches of two tracks so they would fit properly. I followed the installation instructions and installed the tracks 2 inches from the bottom of the horizontal beams on the gazebo, and when mounted the nets I noticed there’s about 2-inch gap at the bottom of the net and the floor I don’t know if that’s intended or not. I want to that this product with stood hurricane Ian. Never blew away or bent. Arrived incredibly fast! It was really easy to put together. It took me about 2 hours to assemble the base by myself, and then my daughter and nephew helped with the top. That part took a little longer (thanks to a few snack and break interruptions ), but the total active assembly time was about 6 to 6½ hours. It’s already held up through some heavy rain and high winds here in the Chicago area—and that was before we even anchored it to the concrete. So far, I’m absolutely loving it. I managed to put this together by myself. Took two days but I really wasn’t in a hurry. Is decent if you don’t want the heavier metal top but something a bit sturdier than the cloth ones. No written instructions, only pictures. If you can find an assembly video I recommend taking a look at that. Instructions suggest gloves and I believe a mallet hammer. Absolutely use gloves, the rooftop left me with some decent cuts on my hands. If you’re ok with using your hand to “hammer” that works, but you definitely need to do that with the roof. It might seem like it won’t fit but that’s what the mallet hammer is for. Overall I like it but you do get what you pay for. Solid structure and looks amazing do to exquisite assembly team. It was done in 2.5 hours and they arrived 2 hours before actual time expected. Unfortunately removing the plastic was a problem and did cause some structural damage by the assembly team. I would definitely advise to make sure you completely take off the plastic before you assemble it yourself or decide on using professional installation. Once the parts sit in the heat without taking off the plastic completely off it will definitely get damaged the roof frame if you try to take off once assembled. Otherwise it’s a solid and descent design and some people may opt to keep the plastic on but in extreme heat your are basically staring at duct tape all over the roof it’s looks more appealing on the website because the plastic was definitely completed removed. Lastly the hooks inside are definitely strong and durable to hold a ceiling fan. I’m currently waiting for a peaceful resolution I tried to order the replacement roof but currently on back order hopefully it’s easier to just order a brand new pergola.The only things that took a a couple of hours was doing the dissemble by my myself to get a brand new replacement or order another design. Hopefully there will be some compensation for this disaster. But again customer service has been very nice and responsive and hoping to get this resolved today to enjoy the yard.. Terrence. Gazebo is a lot to assemble, plan on the larger part of a day to complete with two people, a bit tricky to assemble as the instructions are not as clear as they could be but we got it done, extremely sturdy when complete plenty of room inside and looks great on our deck, i used lag screws to attack it to my deck and will only bring in the screen and cloth for winter, the roof is easily strong enough for a "light" snow load. i will clear the snow if it is more than a foot, but it is strong once assembled, very happy with the purchase.. Solid construction. Not quite like the picture. Screws are black, not gold, roof panel does not look exactly like picture either. Put together by myself in about 13 hours, from unboxing to last screw, not extremely handy but a decent DIY'er. I did needed about 10 minutes of help from my wife to align the brace supports from the posts to the frame. The most annoying part was taking all the plastic off the metal roof panels (Tip: Don't try to do this if the panels are too cold or too hot, you will be tearing off small pieces). Out of all the material I would say the roofing panels look good but are very thin, the framing structure is quite sturdy to brace the panels but wouldn't want much snow to build up on it, as I can see the panels sagging under the weight..
