It’s really nice! Got a professional to put it together and it took a long time and some extra tools from the hardware store to get it the way we wanted it. We love this gazebo, it did take a month to get because are location was not on a normal place for the 3rd party shipper (witch is weird because we are on a major interstate) But with that aside we love this thing. We did stain every piece before build, so it should only ever need just the post redone every few years. The customer service from backyard discovery was topnotch. The gazebo is beautiful once completed. It took about 4 days to assemble on weekends with 2-3 people. We were missing 2 pieces of wood for the roof. I messaged to notify right away however, not knowing how long that would set us back getting the roof up, we made the pieces needed which took more time, and they don’t match, but it works. This is beautiful. Just be forewarned, it's a royal pain to build it by yourself (minus the times you need at least 2-3 others to lift parts while building it). This gazebo came out amazing. This is not something for a beginner to put together though. It came on a shipping palet with 5 very heavy boxes. It took my husband about a week to get it together. Based on reviews and cost was the reason we went with this gazebo. It fits our space and the fact it has a metal roof was a great selling point. Our previous canopy had a canvas top which needed replaced every year. I did most of the install myself. I had very little help which was even necessary. It took me four days, so I went slow and steady. The picture only instructions were really pretty good. All the parts were there and all the holes lined up. Which brings me to building of the gazebo. I left all major screws and bolts that attached the horizontal rails to the legs loose. One of the issues mentioned in reviews was being able to make this thing “square.” I’m handy, but square can be tough at times. By leaving screws and bolts loose, it allowed me to make the necessary adjustments when installing the roof panels. Once all the roof panels were installed, I tightened up all the screws and bolts. I love this gazebo! It was not easy to put together, it took 4 of us about 7 hours. But I absolutely love it! It's well made and feels like it's going to last a long time. The 4 posts are not solid wood, they feel hollow and if you look close you can see the seams in the wood where they put it together. But I still love it. It shipped in 4 boxes, and you'll definitely need 2 people to move the boxes around. The hooks are nice, I have 2 battery operated pendant lights hanging from them and it looks great! I’m not sure we could be happier with our gazebo. After spending time budgeting and planning a build-from-scratch project, this became clear to us that it was more affordable and frankly better looking. We love the size of the posts and the look of the metal roof. We are looking to add lights and fan(s) in the near future. Ours is a 15x13. We would consider ourselves very handy with tools and construction. It took four of us (two in our twenties and two in our forties) a three day weekend to put this together.
