Just got this today, and set it up for my sister-in-law at her assisted living studio. We wanted her to be able to elevate her legs in a recliner and to be able to sleep there as well because of her leg swelling and mobility issues. This is a real quality item. Heavy, sturdy, and full-featured, with customizable heat and massage, easy to access and operate wired controls (two sets, one for the chair’s back, legs, full recline, lift and one for heat and massage). Both are really easy to use. The materials in the chair are quality with faux leather that is attractive and comfortable. The chair’s support and cushioning are superb. Assembly was easier than I expected, but still took some time. I did the assembly all by myself, but had help with getting the boxes into her studio. They are heavy (which is a good thing when it comes to furniture like this). Assembly took about an hour with a very clear and substantial instruction booklet (large pages and print which is nice for my sister-in-law to have as a reference). There are two plug-ins, so keep that in mind. Everything tested out perfectly, and my sister-in-law was able to operate it right away. The lift feature will seriously get you out of the chair in an almost upright position! Really well-designed. There are a lot of lay-flat lift recliners on the market, and I feel doing the extra research helped me avoid some poor options. This one is a keeper! Wayfair got this two me in two days with excellent tracking using FedEx. It arrived exactly on time. I have used Wayfair several times, it’s always turned out well for me.. Albert. Gainesville, FL. We like the chair , the customer service is not acceptable, there was a problem with the seams on the side panel and was told that they will send replacement, I am getting mixed messages , one telling me that they do not have the panel and someone will call within 2 days , after 2 days I called and this time the agent said that they do have the panel and that they will ship it to me , it’s been a week, no call , no email no shipment.
