Love the chair. I chose to build it on my own because I usually do a good job. The instructions had one falicy in that I had trouble deciding at the start, the front from the back. I did a great job, only backwards. Taking everything apart took tremendous time, but I did achieve my goal. Seems like the manufactures spend more time showing what is in the package than writing good instructions on how to do the job. I take full responsibility, but wish for better instructions. The chair is beautiful! It’s also very comfortable and reclines back a good amount. Love the feel of the fabric. Only reason I’m giving 4 stars is when you pull the handle for the foot rest to come up, it doesn’t come up strong. You have to lean back more for it to lock which is a bit awkward. Bought for 1 year old grandson...he loves it. He did figure out a way to sit on one top edge of the slide and change the center of gravity enough to tio it over, but he worked at this and repeated it multiple times.
