I bought one of these recliners about 3 years ago and loved it so much that I just bought another recently—like last week. I noticed that it was made even better than my first one. The foot lift is smother and pushing the foot rest down is also smother and easier. The seat itself is firmer and fuller and they have changed the design in such a way that you don’t need a “specialist” to come to your home to put it together. I just out this together and it is so comfy and lays almost completely flat if given the room. My husband is 6ft and comfortably fit in the recliner as well. These chairs would probably be 1000 each in a furniture store, we paid less than that with tax for 2. They are heavy ( I wouldnt want to carry them upstairs - they come in 1 box) and feel like quality. My husband is 62 and 275 lbs . He can lean backrecline and the chair is stable. He likes the chairs as much as I do. The chair backs are a good height from the seat. Allowing you to rest your head to take the pressure off your neck. Beautiful recliner. I love the look and the glow from the nightlight underneath is perfect for middle of the night feedings. The power recline is great. It is not the more ergonomic especially is you are on the more petite side, it’s hard for me to be all the way with my back against the back and to be able to use my feet to rock as I am lifted too high.
