Absolutely perfect for my needs. We now own 5 of these gates which we use to keep our dog restricted to certain areas of the house. The features we like best are that you can install it on either side of the doorway, the gate swings both ways, and you can install it above the floor, if desired. This works out perfectly for our cats, who are able to slip under the gate (mounted 6 inches above the floor). The dogs are not able to follow. Also, the gate is very sturdy and strong and not an eyesore. Finally, unlike a pressure-mounted gate, there is no bottom support bar to trip over.. Nina. Lawrenceville, GA. Thu Jul 30 2026

Now that baby is on the move, the safety gate makes it simple to create child-friendly areas within your home. For use between rooms, a walk-through gate makes it easy to get around the house, with no need to reinstall it each time you pass by. We have a Great Dane and it is perfect for our home. It keeps her out of things when we are not home. We bought 2 more because we loved the gate so much for our Grandchildren’s safety at their home.. Bonnie. Florida. Fri Aug 14 2026

It supports pressure or hardware mounting for stairs, kitchens, hallways, etc.

Seems to be an ok gate. Looks nice. Was easy to install. There is a small plastic piece with a spring behind it at the bottom of the gate that was broken when it arrived. I just took it off and it doesn’t seem to interfere with operation of the gate so, I’m not sure what it was there for. Pretty sure it was broken before it even left the factory. The box was in perfect condition. We still can’t figure out how to get the cat door to slide up so that’s disappointing. The lock/unlock knob appears to do nothing. Unfortunate, since that was the feature that sold me. In my opinion, it looks nice but you might want to go with another option.. Erika. NY. Sun Aug 02 2026
