The only reason I’m giving this dresser a 4* rating is the customer service !!! I received it and a very big amount of the parts were damaged or broken. No questions asked, they sent me a brand new one! However, it’s a pretty poor quality. The drawers don’t slide in smoothly and get stuck all the time. There is a separate piece that goes in the frame of the face of the drawers and is not properly glued to the frame so it all moves as you open the drawers. I had to glue them all myself so it doesn’t drive me crazy every time I open it. If you are looking for a quality dresser- I would not recommend this one! The color is perfect, although the wood grain is painted on rather than real wood and some color rubbed off when I removed a scuff that was on the front of a drawer when I unboxed it. I bought both the 7 drawer and the 4 drawer dressers from this set and the 7 drawer dresser was much easier to assemble. Center-mount ball-bearing slide is ideal for applications such as bedroom cabinets, bathroom vanities and kitchen cabinets

Being a novice fixing a drawer, it took me a bit to figure out how to separate this into 2 parts for install since there were no real instructions. I eventually figured out that you just had to forcefully yank them apart as their is no lever or catch for release like most drawer slides I've dealt with. After that, it was a simple install. I did have to search for flat small screws to install as they are not included with this slide. The only down side is that you have to pull so hard that it actually pulls the attached slide off the bottom of the drawer since there is no way to attach it tightly to thin wood bottoms. It seems sturdy enough, but we will be careful with this file drawer and never pull it fully out again...Not much left to reattach it to.
