This a great awning at this price point, even my electrician son was impressed as he he was expecting troubles. To be fair, it is not easy to install. It took three adult men on ladders to put it up and a great deal of finagling before that. Also, the motor came preassembled so we had no choice about which side it was on which meant extension cords.. Karla. Stafford Springs, CT. Sat Jun 27 2026

We have an open portion of our deck and that is where we keep our grill and smoker. This can be inconvenient when it is inclement weather so we ordered this ordered for the space. Nice awning. Too heavy for 2 seniors to hang. Had to hire a handyman. It really is too small for the area. It needed to be bigger (longer). Too cumbersome to return. Guess we need to buy another to go along side it.. Rosa. Thu Jul 23 2026

Decent gazebo but height is not as stated, it's shorter than expected so couldn't use it for what we originally wanted. That said, it worked well to create a covered area for our pets outside, so it's still useful and met our needs. While it includes hardware to secure the posts, would recommend having it professionally installed in concrete bases.. Anonymous. Texas. Thu Oct 08 2026

This awning is the first choice of most homeowners who choose a manually-operated model because for just low cost it extends out from your house giving you up more square feet of coverage and protection This model requires no electricity.

Pros Great product for the price! It has held up very well in the CA sun over the past few months. Cons It stains easily and it was so terrible to put together (terrible instructions, lots of pieces). If I had to do it again, would have three people to hang it.. Jeannie. Danyani Maldonado. Louisville, KY. Sun Aug 09 2026

We ordered two of these for our western windows. The kitchen could get up to 104°, however, after installing these, we don’t have a problem with that anymore. They’re relatively easy to assemble, but we’ve had experience putting things together. Someone who’s never put something like this together, the instructions are only pictures. But they look nice and I’m so glad that we purchased them.. Lee. Highland, MI. Wed Aug 26 2026
