This item was a COMPLETE disappointment x 2. Received this item and it was not only damaged, but apparently glued together and was attempted to be painted over the defects. Replacement item came and even worse!! This is an item that is Lexington so we expected high quality especially for the price$$$$...NO WAY!! The finish is poor, not to mention the repeated damage. Wayfair needs to ELIMINATE this distributor if they are truly shipping previously damaged items. This has been the most frustrating and disappoitning experience I have ever had with Wayfair and I have been a loyal customer for 8 years. They handled the situation well and returned both items, however there is a bigger problem here and that is for Wayfair to continue to offer this item from the same distibutor and disappoint other customers?? We love this tv cabinet. It wasn't that hard to put together as some other customers have mentioned. We did find a few places when putting on the top, the dowls would not line up with the holes so we had skip using them. The color of the cabinet is a bit darker than the picture, but I know all pieces are unique in color. There were 4 places we had scratches and 1 chip, but instead of sending it back or requesting new pieces, WF adjusted the price for us and made it right. Overall, this is a cool piece of furniture and looks great in our living room up against our WF washable area rug.
