The color is perfect, although the wood grain is painted on rather than real wood and some color rubbed off when I removed a scuff that was on the front of a drawer when I unboxed it. Dresser is great and was easy to put together all by myself. It did take a little longer than the 30 minutes the instructions said but probably could have been done if I had a second person. We ordered this for a bedroom remodel. It was super protected in shipping and so beautiful and sturdy. My only complaint is that, after using for a period of time, we noticed the center was not raised enough and seemed to be slightly sagging. All corner posts were already adjusted as low as possible and the center was raised, so we added a small piece of wood under the middle to lift it a bit more and it is straight/level again.. Kristen. This is absolutely adorable , but also seeming as this is very tiny. its very short, but adorable for a toddler. my only issue is it does not have the safety drawers, so you can open every single drawer .even though it is a very heavy piece, you still always have cautious of tipping !!.
