A butterfly leaf mechanism allows you to easily expand the surface to accommodate larger gatherings or family meals. It also features a two-leaf design that seats up to eight people when fully extended.

Very happy with the table. We wanted an extendable table that held the "leaves" within the table and was round when extended. The "racetrack" shape when the "butterfly wing/leaves" are retracted is cooler than a typical rectangle or oval. I also wanted a near white (but with some contrasting details) stone-like top which is very hard to find in an extendable table. The base appears to be slightly lighter brown in color in person than online, but I prefer that. Ignore the chairs in the pictures; we haven't picked out chairs for the new table yet. The extension mechanism (see photo) works very smoothly, and you can do with one hand and little strength. You can have neither extended, only 1 extended, or both extended which works well for our needs (kid comes home from college, etc). There's a tiny bit of uneven-ness in the height at one end of the leaves when extended, but probably only 2 mm (and maybe fixable if we tried.) Delivery was on time with excellent communication via texts and call and with updates for a narrower delivery window provided. They brought it in and assembled it for us. Happy with the purchase. Other places on-line had similar tables but not the exact same one. In particular, the stone top having the grey details seemed harder to find. The base of this table seems very sturdy yet is not wide enough to get in the way of anyone's legs and we have tall teenage boys. Very sturdy table with self storage leaf. The wood is lighter than I thought, but it’s okay. This is a beautifully crafted table in a rich espresso color. The tabletop features a unique and stunning pattern in espresso and black. The pedestals are designed with a bold, modern, and eye-catching look. It comes with a 22-inch extendable leaf. The table is very heavy and requires two people to assemble. Once assembled, it becomes a centerpiece that will likely earn many compliments. I will be thrilled when the matching sideboard is delivered. This set has truly transformed my dining room. ❤️ The original order was replaced and arrived in two separate shipments. The boxes were slightly damaged, and there was a small scuff on one corner of the table. I was able to fix it using a furniture touch-up kit. A small 1” x 2” wood inlay piece was missing from the leaf. Additionally, an extra box with two pedestals was delivered. I still gave five stars because when I contacted customer service, they resolved all the issues. The extra box has already been picked up, and the missing wood inlay was ordered from the vendor. I recently received this solid wood dining table and overall, I’m very satisfied with the purchase. Here are a few details from my experience: Shipping & Packaging: The table arrived in one large, heavy box. It was packaged very securely, which I appreciated given the weight of the solid oak. Quality & Aesthetics: The material is excellent. You can feel the quality of the solid wood, and the color is beautiful—true to the online photos. It’s a sturdy, well-made piece of furniture. Assembly Tips: Assembly is mostly just attaching the four legs. However, I encountered two small issues: Manual Error: The included instructions were slightly inaccurate. They showed an external nut setup, but the actual product uses internal screws that thread directly into the legs. Hardware Issue: One of the leg’s internal threadings was a bit worn/damaged, making it difficult to align the screw. It took a lot of patience to get it started correctly—make sure not to force it, or you might cross-thread it. Tools: A simple hex key (Allen wrench) is included and is all you need for the job. Really solid table—people are always shocked when they find out this was from Wayfair. Only downside is that after a year of use there does seem to be some knicks and chips then show up as white given the laminate costing, which makes it look cheaper than if it were truly solid wood. Gorgeous table. This is the 79 inch length in natural wood. The table top is one solid piece so there are no lines or seams visible. It comfortably holds 4 small chairs but can seat up to 6. (Note It depends on the type of chairs you pair with the table. The bulkier they are the less likely you can fit more than 4.)You can sit at the end of the table which was a concern as a lot double pedestal designs don’t leave enough space. (image attached of our chair at the end). The legs of the table arrived slightly damaged but we are not sure if it was during wayfair’s assembly or from the manufacturer.
