Now is your chance to own an authentic work of art. Skilled artisans have been producing fine carpets for centuries completely by hand. As modern technology progresses, however, such fine works of art are becoming rarer every day. Starting with the finest of hand-spun wool, each row of knotting is hand-tied to the warp strings on a loom with meticulous detail. Several steps of washing by hand add a rich patina and even more luster to the already soft wool. Once sheared by hand to a plush pile, each piece is then finished with a hand-whipped edge surging.

Gorgeous, thick high-quality rug. If you love the pattern and colors, don't hesitate. Wayfair has the best price and outstanding customer service.. Linda. Fitchburg, WI. Fri May 01 2026

I like this rug, it's very nice, seems to be of high quality. No smell and it only took about a day to get rid of the curling. I don't think I would use a vacuum with aggressive brush rollers on it. The only thing I would change was if the background cream color was a little brighter. It does look a little bit dingy, but the colors are very pretty otherwise. This is 6x9 I think the photos on the listing accurately show the colors.. Roxanne. Beulah, ND. Fri Oct 02 2026

We really like the classic, though muted, color scheme of this rug. It has an antique look and a very flat weave. You may want a thick pad. It connected our sage arm chairs, tweed sofa, leather side chair and wood furniture together. In real life, it appears a bit lighter than the images and the blue is slightly more green.. Steven. Inspired by the antique Persian rugs we drool over in our favorite design magazines, this handmade wool area rug is crafted by skilled artisans with a sea foam green and ivory floral medallion pattern. Its deliberately distressed, weather-worn finish makes sure to add a historical feel to everywhere from newly built homes to traditional farmhouse layouts. But our favorite feature of all is this rug’s hand-knotted construction, which prevents it from excessive shedding while making sure that it lasts for years. Put it under the coffee table in a formal dining room to add a little visual interest or in a mudroom ready for the aftermath of a day at the beach—no matter where you decide to display it, be sure to place a rug pad underneath to help keep it in one place.

I was a little nervous about this rug and the colors. But I absolutely love it. There’s more blue than shows in the advert picture. Great quality.. Mary Beth. Portland, OR. Sat Sep 05 2026
