Exactly as pictured! I love the color, very natural. It’s a little more complicated than other dresser builds I’ve done, but nothing unmanageable. I’m pleased with the overall appearance. The cabinet looks as described. Assembly was simple. I am 72 yr old female with arthritis and it took me about 3 hrs to complete. Full disclosure, I used an it is pressed wood so don’t overload it but it works great for my purposes. electric screwdriver or I’d still be working on it with the small screwdriver that was sent with the hardware. *Update* The manufacturer reach out and replaced the product within the week. The package still arrived with a little damage but the dresser was in great conduction and we loved it! *Original* This dresser arrived very damaged! I have reached out to Wayfair and they forwarded my return request to the manufacturer. Personally I think it was damaged in transit but there were chips in the paint on most of the drawers so maybe not. I would have just touched it up with some paint but then while unpacking it I noticed huge damage to one of the side drawers that would make it impossible to assemble. Much of the Styrofoam packaging was crumbled and getting all over the place which made it all the more infuriating as I had spent an hour slowly unpacking and wiping down the pieces. I saw a lot of mixed reviews mentioning misaligned drawers and bad pre-drilled holes, but that wasnt my experience at all. While assembly was definitely time-consuming and tedious, it was pretty straightforward, and everything aligned perfectly for me. The kit does come with a Phillips head screwdriver, but like most pre-packed furniture tools, the handle isnt very comfortable. If you dont have a nicer screwdriver already, Id recommend getting one because your hand will hurt after driving so many screws. I used a cordless screwdriver, which made driving screws into the areas without pre-drilled holes a lot easier, though you could definitely manage without one. The color and dimensions are 100 accurate to the product description online. However, as other reviews have noted, the drawers are on the shallow side. More importantly, the drawer slides are set up so the drawers do not pull out all the way. There is a good 4 to 5 inches per drawer that stays inside the unit when fully opened. I think this is probably a safety feature to prevent tipping, and for my needs—storing clothing like sweatshirts and sweatpants—it really doesnt matter. That said, I would not recommend this unit if you want to store something like craft supplies, as reaching smaller items out of the back of the drawers would get annoying. The drawers do feel a little bit flimsy and loose when pulling them in and out, which is where its most obvious that this is a flat-pack piece of furniture. However, I was able to fit them together easily, they are perfectly aligned, and they stay on their tracks without any issues. My dresser came to my door with no damage. My only gripe is the weight. It was heavy and in 2 boxes. I am glad it was in 2 boxes. More boxes would make it easier to get in the house. I am very happy with the finish and the quality of the material. It will be a very nice dresser when assembled. I recommend paying for assembly. I am a senior so some of the parts are heavy to lift.
