It was originally going to have 90 guns, but King Charles I personally insisted that a ''great ship'' be built for the English Royal Navy, so it went to sea with 102 bronze guns. The vessel was the most extravagantly decorated warship in the Royal Navy, completely adorned from stern to bow with gilded carvings. The ship was later renamed Sovereign and then Royal Sovereign. It was destroyed by fire in 1697 in Chatham.

Inevitably, the clipper ships lost out to the more powerful steam boats, which were more reliable, and thus returned goods more consistently. The Cutty Sark won the reputation as the fastest ship in her size when she ran 360 nautical miles in 24 hours during a run for Australian Wool trade. The Cutty Sark is the world's sole surviving extreme slipper, with the majority of her hull fabric surviving from her original construction in the 1860s. The Cutty Sark is preserved as a museum ship in Greenwich, which is in south-east London.

The Royal Louis was a 3-deck vessel with 120 guns. Her captain was a Squadron Admiral. She was one of the most powerful first-rank vessels belonging to the French Royal Navy at that time. Our model represents the Royal Louis according to the plans of 1779, when she was Admiral-Ship of the Blue and White Squadron, being part of the American Squadron, also called Earl d'Estaings.

The Curtiss JN-4 "Jenny" was one of a series of "JN" biplanes built by the Curtiss Aeroplane Company of Hammondsport, New York. The 204-foot-long ship was first put to sea in 1798 and its most famous era of naval warfare was the War of 1812 against Britain when it captured numerous merchant ships and defeated five warships, including the H.M.S. Guerriere. It was during the ferocious battle with the Guerriere that British seamen, astonished at how their cannonballs were bouncing off the constitution's hull, cried out, ''Sir, her sides are made from iron'' hence, the nickname, ''old ironsides.'' the constitution today is a national landmark and is docked in boston.

Impressive model! I haven't even removed it from the packaging as yet. I am a woodworker and planning to construct a case for it as I did for the Independence, a model I finished this year. Only question I have is about the masts when first received. Upon opening the top of the shipping box I remember all the sails were 90 degrees to the hull. Now after 2 days, all the sails are 30 degrees to the left. I included a shot looking down at the model. I was interested to know if others have noticed this or am I mistaken? Also found this after unpacking (see picture) of rear mast warped at top. The other noticeable item was the size of the rigging blocks, obviously too large but can be overlooked as they seem to accentuate the model when viewed as a whole.. Greg. Gilroy, CA. She participated in many battles in 17th-18th century and she was improved for several times. She rested in the beginning of 19th century when there was a worldwide revolution of structure and boat weapons.

This model is the Sikorsky S-64 Skycrane. This is an American twin-engine heavy-lift helicopter. Transport helicopters are used to lift heavy loads when other methods are not feasible. For example, getting to the tops of buildings or mountains and hills. This helicopter is powered by two 4,050 shaft horsepower engines. Although this was originally a Sikorsky Aircraft product, Erickson Air-Crane purchased the type certificate and manufacturing rights. Since then, Erickson Air-Crane has become the world's largest operator of S-64 Aircrane and has made over 1,350 changes to the airframe, instrumentation, and payload capabilities of the helicopter. The Erickson Air-Crane fleet is leased worldwide to organizations, companies, and Federal Government agencies for either short-term or long-term use in fire suppression, civil protection, heavy lift construction, and timber harvesting. This transport helicopter model is almost 40 inches long and 15 inches wide, making this a 1:21 scale. The only assembly needed for this helicopter is putting the three pieces of the propeller together. There are three pieces to the entire propeller and they are stacked on each other and held in with screws and hex nuts. Once the propeller is assembled, slide the entire piece over the top and finally hold it all together with the top piece. Once that is together, the helicopter can be held up as long as the nuts are secured and ready to be suspended. Attach the included cargo and suspend this craft by its built-in chain. Under the cargo, there is an LED light bar to give an even greater aesthetic appeal. The paint job and color scheme on the helicopter gives a strong feel of authenticity. Hang up this model, plug in the cargo and enjoy.

This Omega 46 is one of the most beautiful yachts on the water. Classic looks combined with the most modern technics. Designed by Ron Holland, build by Omega in Sweden. It has beautiful teak decks and cockpit, very spacious cockpit benches, superb lines and the best quality in finish and detail. Equipped options like an electric winch in the cockpit for setting the mainsail, a bowthruster for extra comfort in the harbour and an electric anchorwinch with extra controls at the helm. The magnificent and very spacious interior has 2 large double rooms, one in the frontship, one in the rear. The enormous galley has a fridge and a freezer. The salon is very comfortable with beautiful upholstery. In the front ship is a large wet room with toilet and separate shower compartment.

I would rate this five stars but I am a keen sailor and deduct one star because the boom on the boat I received was about an inch too long and fouled the back stay, though this was easily trimmed to the right length, but the mainsail on the boat I received has a very loose leach and that is not easy to correct without recutting the sail..
