this set was actually much nicer than expected. Had purchased to put on our front porch and not really be used (more for visual than function) but they are comfortable and really nice in person. This set arrived in several boxes and was a little daunting once we broke into them. It took about 5 hrs to assemble them all. The parts fit well together. Some of the screws are tedious due to their location, but luckily they are all pretty similar in build. Once you build one, it's basically rinse and repeat. We wanted a comfortable patio set with firm (not squishy) cushions that is ergonomically pleasant to sit in. We ordered the frame in brown cushions in gray. We noticed other reviews mentioned that the gray is more like a greige or taupe color, and I would agree. I like it! We also ordered the matching ottomans, which adds extra seating or can be used as footrests or with a tray, can be used as a table.
